EBC Yellowstuff is an aramid fiber based brake compound with high brake effect form cold and is possibly one of the first ever compounds that can be used for STREET AND OFFROAD DRIVING. These pads do not require warm up but do get even stronger under the heat of hard driving.

Truck Yellowstuff Sport brake pads are especially appreciated on Trucks for towing and heavy loads and where wheel and tire oversize upgrades have been fitted.

Truck Yellowstuff Sport brake pads are not rated as low dust but create lower dust to OEM pads. These pads are a full FMVSS grade higher in friction level than most stock pads and as such will feel stronger on the pedal after install and bedding.

The pads are also a race developed friction material designed for heavy heat and brake abuse. As an ideal upgrade pad when fitting oversize tires and wheels, the EBC Yellowstuff brake pads have been tested to destruction by off road desert racing teams.

For the Embedding Procedure:
 
 
We do recommend the Real World Experienced Driver Break In - As we have had a lot more positive feedback and luck with it.
 
This entails on an open road bringing your truck to 40-45mph - NOT MORE
Applying a 1/4 Brake Pedal (25%) - NOT MORE
After decelerating to approximately 30mph
Accelerate with the brake pedal depressed at 25% back to 40-45mph - NOT MORE
Maintain this for approximately 1/4 Mile - NOT MORE - A little Less is Fine
Release the Brake pedal and continue to drive avoiding additional braking for a good 5-10 min at speed if possible..... (This is allowing the Rotor and Pad to Cool)
 
You are now complete - It is imperative you do not exceed the recommendations by speed, distance or brake application as these are extremes already. Slightly less is fine...
Exceeding recommendation can result in glazing the pads and rotor. so please follow recommendations and or slightly less.
